In January, 1999 the "Virginia Dance Festival" was founded by Jessica Morgan. The motivation was to give talented dancers a chance to "give back to children in need" by using their talents as a benefit for Richmond Children's Hospital. To date, the event has raised over $100,000.00 This performance brings together a showcase of talent in Richmond and the surrounding communities. The following organizations have participated:

Our fund raising comes from three sources. We try to find sponsors that will donate money to the event and they are listed in our program as:
