(teacher) grew up dancing at local studios in Richmond, Virginia. She attended Henrico High School Center for the Arts where she studied dance for four years. After graduating from high school, she attended James Madison University and earned a B.A. in Dance under the teachings of Shane O’Hara, Cynthia Thompson, Kate Trammel, and Suzanne Miller-Corso. After graduating in 2006, she moved to Washington, D.C. and taught dance outreach at public schools in the metro area through Dance Place. Currently, she is performing with the Z Mullins Dance Collective, and teaching middle school dance at St. Catherine's as well as the Specialty Center at Henrico High School. This is Ashley's third year at JMSD and she would like to thank all of her students for their hard work this year!
